About This Tour

🕌 Turkestan is the spiritual capital of Kazakhstan and one of the oldest cities in Central Asia. The Khoja Ahmed Yasawi mausoleum is a UNESCO World Heritage site; there is also an underground mosque, a 14th–15th century bathhouse and the modern Karavansaray complex. What to expect: • The Khoja Ahmed Yasawi mausoleum — a UNESCO site • The Arystan Bab mausoleum • The Gaukhar Ana mausoleum — Yasawi's daughter • The Rabiya Sultan Begim mausoleum • The Hilvet underground mosque • A historic bathhouse of the 14th–15th centuries • The Miromon mosque • The Kyz Zhibek water show in the evening • Time to walk around modern Turkestan ❗️ A foreign travel passport is required to enter Kazakhstan. An internal ID is not enough — without one the trip is not possible. The programme passes through border control twice. 🏨 The tour offers three places to stay. 04:30 — The group meets Brookland car wash car park, Uzbekiston Ovozi street 2. 04:50 — Departure from Tashkent By Uzbek coach as far as the border post. 05:30 — The border post Passport control. 07:00 — Changing to a coach on the Kazakh side A local coach, so the group does not wait for the Uzbek one to clear inspection. 07:20 — A comfort stop Breakfast and restrooms. 08:00 — On towards Turkestan 11:15 — The Arystan Bab mausoleum One of the most revered spiritual sites in Kazakhstan. 12:30 — On to Turkestan 13:15 — The Gaukhar Ana mausoleum The daughter of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. 13:45 — Lunch at the Nursat restaurant 15:00 — Hotel check-in Free time to walk around modern Turkestan. 21:00 — The Kyz Zhibek water show Back to the hotel. Overnight.

Morning — Breakfast at the hotel 08:50 — A tour of the historic complex The Khoja Ahmed Yasawi mausoleum, the Hilvet underground mosque, the Rabiya Sultan Begim mausoleum and the 14th–15th century bathhouse. 12:00 — Check out and hand back the keys 12:30 — Lunch at the Nursat restaurant 13:30 — The Miromon mosque 14:30 — Setting off for the border 17:15 — A comfort stop: shop and restrooms 19:00 — The border, passport control 20:30 — Approximate arrival in Tashkent at Brookland.
