About This Tour
🇰🇿 Turkestan, one of Kazakhstan's great historical and spiritual centres, in a single day.
The Khoja Ahmed Yasawi mausoleum, an underground mosque, the Azret Sultan museum reserve — and proper Kazakh beshbarmak for lunch.

📋 Itinerary
03:15 — Meet at the Brookland car wash in Tashkent

03:30 — Departure for the border
⚠️ Please be on time: latecomers catch up with the group at their own expense.
04:15 — The group meets at the Kaplanbek border
04:30 — Border control
Then on towards Turkestan. The time is approximate — the crossing is usually quicker.
09:30–10:00 — The Arystan Bab mausoleum
The entrance ticket is paid on site.
11:20 — The Gaukhar Ana mausoleum
12:00 — Arrival in Turkestan
12:00–13:00 — Lunch
Proper Kazakh food: beshbarmak, salads, bread and tea.
13:15 — The Azret Sultan museum reserve
13:30 — The Khoja Ahmed Yasawi mausoleum
The great spiritual and architectural landmark of Turkestan.
14:20 — The underground mosque
14:50 — The Rabiya Sultan Begim mausoleum
15:20 — The eastern bathhouse
Then — shopping and the Caravanserai ("Venice")
Optional: the flying theatre, paid separately — 7,800 tenge, about 220,000 UZS.
16:45 — The Mir-Omon mosque
17:45 — Setting off back towards Tashkent
For a small group the trip runs in a comfortable-class minibus.
