💦 Paltau is a waterfall of about 38 metres in the Ugam-Chatkal mountains. The water drops from a sheer cliff into a stone bowl and scatters into spray below.
What to expect:
• A moderate hike — 4 km each way on a mountain path
• The waterfall itself and three hours to rest beside it
• The Obirakhmat grotto — a prehistoric campsite roughly 70,000 years old
• A photo session in the mountains
• A full day out of the city: away at 07:00, back by 19:00
🛂 A passport is required: documents are checked on entry to the national park.
⛰️ Mountain weather turns quickly — bring a warm layer. Trekking poles help on the climb and the descent.
🌿 Please respect the nature and take your litter home.
