About This Tour

🌊 A genuine expedition through the most atmospheric corners of Karakalpakstan. The open expanse of the Ustyurt plateau, ancient Silk Road fortresses, the ship cemetery at Muynak, and a night in yurts on the shore of the Aral Sea. What to expect: • A flight to Nukus and onward travel in Toyota Prado 4x4s • The Savitsky Museum in Nukus • Sudochye and Kubla Ustyurt — the plateau panoramas • A night in a yurt camp on the Aral shore • Sunrise over the Aral Sea • The 12th–14th century Kurgancha-kala fortress • The ship cemetery at Muynak • The sacred complex of Mizdakhan 🏕 Four people per yurt. 📋 Itinerary

DAY 1

03:30 — The group meets Islam Karimov International Airport, Tashkent. 05:30 — Flight to Nukus with Centrum Air 07:20 — Arrival in Nukus 07:30–08:00 — Into the Toyota Prado 4x4s Four to five people per vehicle. The Savitsky Museum Museum entry and the museum guide are paid separately. Lunch at a guest house, then out towards the Aral Sea Along the way — Sudochye and Kubla Ustyurt, the plateau panoramas, and stops at the best viewpoints. 18:00 — Arrival at the yurt camp on the Aral shore Four people per yurt. The camp has a freshwater shower and toilets. A traditional dinner, an evening by the sea and a night under the stars.

DAY 2

05:00–07:00 — Sunrise over the Aral Sea Breakfast, then back on the road Kurgancha-kala A fortified trading post of the 12th–14th centuries on the Great Silk Road. Lunch in Muynak The ship cemetery An open-air museum that became the emblem of the vanishing Aral Sea. 16:00 — Mizdakhan An ancient sacred complex of the 4th–2nd centuries BC and the 13th–16th centuries: the Mazlumkhan Sulu and Khalifa Erezhep mausoleums, Shamun Nabi, and the Zoroastrian-era settlement of Gyaur-kala. Return to Nukus and free time for dinner 22:30 — Flight to Tashkent 23:50 — Arrival in Tashkent ✈️ The Tashkent — Nukus — Tashkent flights are NOT included and are paid separately: from 1,900,000 UZS return.
